Welcome to Susquehanna Rod & Fly. This venture started with an effort to sell some hand tied flies on Ebay. That effort was then combined with a passion for building custom fishing rods and an idea for a store catering to the hobby custom rod builder. Susquehanna Rod and Fly is dedicated to the hobby builder and providing the best materials at the absolute lowest possible prices. 

The hope is that someday this little internet nobody will grow into a full-line "brick and mortar" shop along the banks of the Susquehanna River.  A place where anglers can stop in and get needed supplies, a hot cup of coffee, and shoot the bull for awhile before heading out for a great day of chasing smallies on the Susquehanna or trout on one of the many cold flowing limestone streams in the Cental Pennsylvania area.

Throughout the Rodtrader.net site you'll see alot of "we" and "our", well in reality it's all "me". Hi, I'm Matt Dotts and Susquehanna Rod & Fly is really just Me. Owner, proprietor, rod builder, webmaster, call taker, and bookkepper I'm a one man show. Sometimes it's not so good for me but it's always great for you the customer. Oh yeah, and every once in awhile I get to fish so I know my business and I guaranty my service.
