Matt,

I don’t know what to say. Wow! This latest build is amazing!
The only rod that can compare to this build is the one you built for me last year.
The reel seat is a very unique look and the lathe work on the cork is beautiful.
The attention to detail is incredible and really shows your passion for building.
I appreciate your opinions regarding the selection of the components and the knowledge you brought to the table.
I look forward to working with you again soon. (I already have some ideas for the next build and I’ll be contacting you soon enough about those.)
I am no stranger to custom rods and I believe you may be the best kept secret in rod building, you are certainly the easiest builder I’ve had the pleasure to work with.
The finishing detail on the fighting butt was a very nice surprise. You are getting better and better and I can’t wait to see what you do next.
I received the rod this morning and have already had it out for some “lawn casting”. I have looked the rod over from tip to butt and can’t find a single aspect of it that I’m not totally delighted with. I hope to have it on the water this week.

Thanks again,

Gregg Scott
